FCGI Services

The FCGI works towards improving Governance, Corporate Governance and Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility (CSR) in Indonesia. The FCGI's aim is to enhance awareness and to socialize Good Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR principles to the Indonesian business community based on international best practices, so that they can gain the benefits associated with it. In order to socialize Good Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR principles, FCGI conducts a number of activities:

Corporate Governance Information Centre
The FCGI established Corporate Governance Information Centre in 2000 supported by the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia and the Netherlands Government. The activities of the Corporate Governance Information Centre consist of:

1. Help Desk
   The Help Desk is a function where companies, educational institutions and students, government agencies and the press can get detailed information on Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR in Indonesia. Available information on Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR can be obtained at the FCGI Help Desk address at :

2. In-Company Presentations and Discussion Meeting
   An increasing number of companies and organizations that have started to familiarize themselves with Good Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR are requesting for in-company presentations and discussion meetings with the management and staff of the company. It is a very effective way of getting the implementation process started.
   
   
3. Presentation at Seminars, Workshops and Trainings
   The main objective of presentations at seminars, workshop and trainings are to address Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR issues to the business community and public at large as well. Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR is a topic at an increasing number of seminars held. Frequently, experts of the FCGI are being invited to address specific issues in Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR during seminars.
   
   
4. Publications
   Publications on Governance, Corporate Governance, and CSR will provide information in electronic format (website) as well as writing format (topical booklets on Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development). Joint publication on Corporate Governance and Sustainable Development with other institutions was also made by the FCGI.
   
   
5. Research into Corporate Governance system and procedures in Indonesia in comparison to other countries
   
   
6. Individual Company Counseling
   Individual company counseling aims to help companies in developing their Code of Good Corporate Governance and CSR based on corporate culture, international best practices, and Indonesian laws and practices.

During these activities, FCGI has received valuable support from the Netherlands Government, the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia, and the European Commission.
