"OECD Principles of Corporate Governance" (PDF format)

These "Principles of Corporate Governance" are promulgated by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 1999. Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) has also promulgated its own Principles, in 1998, but the OECD Principles are more widely referred to and, further, the contents are essentially the same. The OECD Principles are referenced in the Indonesian Capital Market Blueprint 2000-2004.

 

"Corporate Governance: A Framework for Implementation" (PDF format)

This World Bank report discusses how globalization is harmonizing corporate governance (page 10) and also mentions that statutory regulation wins the most support when driven from the bottom up (page V) by self regulation.

"Corporate Governance in Indonesia" (PDF format)

Dudi M. Kurniawan and Nur Indriantoro, of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants, presented this paper on "Corporate Governance in Indonesia" at the OECD Second Asian Roundtable on Corporate Governance in June 2000.
